66pix to Merchantmomphoto.com

Due to this change at 66pix, I felt there may be a need *here* and wanted to fill it if possible. I feel much more comfortable providing the hosting for your images where I know what's going on.  We've all seen days where photobucket, etc., went down and people had broken images all over their sites. 

MerchantMom clients are welcome to create a free (or paid ) account to work with your images.   It has all the features that 66pix did (the same exact software).

Obviously, if you wish you can pay at 66pix and not have to redo/move your images.  Now you have a choice, though.

September 11, 2008:

An update on the 66pix.com website...I have sold 66pix.com and the new owner may or may not honor the free accounts.  If you are still using the service and the new owner decides not to honor the free accounts, you will need to either close the account or signup for the MM account (if they keep that).  I'll try to do what I can, but since the new owner isn't associated with MM, there are no promises on this.

If you are on the discounted plan and have an active subscription, that subscription will be canceled.  Your account will still be active and you will need to restart that subscription with the new owner.

Transfer of the site will take place next week.
