What is a 'temporary' address?

If your site hasn't fully propagated due to a transfer of the DNS (nameservers) and you aren't able to see the site via the regular url, www.yoursite.com. You may still work on the site using the temporary address. It is important to note the colors and images will not display at the temporary address.

An example of the temporary address is ip.address../~yourlogin
